The Romney Property Group has advised on over $1Billion of property feasibilities, transactions and developments since inception, directly managed over $100 Million of construction contracts, completed significant environmental remediation programs and transacted or advised on over $500M of government property dealings.

Our People

Founding Director Jeffrey Appel has 30 years experience in the real estate industry including valuation and consultancy for the government and private sector, including working as a development manager in senior positions with some of Australias leading institutions and construction companies. He has also held senior manager roles, working directly for government in Strategic Planning, Voluntary Planning Agreements, development, acquisitions and disposals including compulsory acquisition and complex direct dealings. His experience also extended to project managing EPA controlled actions for complex environmental issues.

Jeffrey Appel has worked across a range of industries and companies in his working life including hospitality, private consultancy companies through to large listed corporate entities and Government. Jeffrey also has a strong community engagement through his involvement with Surf Life Saving.

The working environments that he has been engaged in have been dynamic, collaborative and for the better part diverse both with working colleges’ and management. Jeffrey has had extensive engagement and worked well within the local government sector where there is strong policy support for equal opportunity. The consultative nature of the Government sector both within the organisation and with the community ensures Jeffreys values support a diverse and gender balanced work place and culture and values supporting family and the community.
